Jim grew up on a Tennessee walking horse/gaited mule farm in Woodville, Mississippi, a small town on the Mississippi/Louisiana border. While in high school he was active in many sports, as well as student government and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He attended Mississippi State University where he earned both his Bachelor’s of Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After college, he moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he met Catherine. Jim and Catherine moved to Colorado Springs after Catherine graduated from Veterinary school in May 2016, were married in November 2016, and are expecting their first child this November. Outside of work, Jim can often be found on one of Colorado’s many hiking trails with his wife and their dogs. He also enjoys organized sports, camping, and playing with their many family pets (2 dogs, 2 cats and a snake). Jim loves veterinary medicine as a whole. His favorite parts of working in this field are surgery, emergency medicine, and developing lasting relationships with clients. He is excited to be here and looks forward to serving you the next time you come in.
