Dr. Villagran was born and raised in Southern California. With her mother having an autoimmune disease she grew up around doctors. She developed a love for medicine from that but discovered she wanted to heal pets instead of being a human physician. She started working in the veterinary field since she was 14 years old and never left. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science and Microbiology from Cal Poly Pomona. Then she made a big move to the South where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University. After graduation she was practicing in Las Vegas, Nevada but moved to Colorado in 2020. She happily joined the ESAH family one month after moving to the Springs! She enjoys building a bond between her patients, their families and creating a less stressful experience for all. She is a proud momma to a terrier mix Helen and a cat named Oatmeal. She enjoys spending time hiking and dancing with her husband when he is not busy serving our country in the Army.
