Ariel

This is Ariel, “like the little mermaid”. I was born and raised right here in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I am an Aries with a hard exterior and a soft interior. I am currently working on my associate's degree in medical science and hoping to expand my education further. I am a certified pharmacy technician and immunizer. But, it seems I’ve found myself in the Veterinary world, and I actually love it!

I’ve grown up around many different animals, everything from dogs and cats to spiders and hermit crabs to fish and rabbits to even alpacas. I love being a pet and plant parent, and when I am not slammed with homework, I enjoy spending my spare time with my family, long walks with my dogs, and running a small business on the side.

My 4-year-old Shepsky is Sage, whom I rescued as a puppy from the El Paso County Canine Rescue. Growing up, I’ve always had purebred dogs like my two Pomeranians, but I have to vouch that Sage is the best fur baby I have ever had the pleasure to raise. And, oh yeah, my Thing #1 on the left is Honey (aka- Honey Bunny), and my Thing #2 on the right is Pumpkin (aka- Pumpkin Spice).

Working in the Veterinary Industry so far, I do my best to make sure everyone else’s job goes smoothly. I recognize how hard everyone’s job is, how devoted and hardworking everyone is, and the last thing I want to do is step on toes or cause any bumps in the road for anyone. I am doing my best to conform to this industry so that I can become part of it for the long run.

The most important part of my job, currently working as a receptionist, is to see the smiles on both the Client’s face and their pet’s face. Client or employee, we all walk into the same building for the same purpose- we care and love our animals endlessly, as does the person on our right and left.
